1995–2019: 
EARLY LIFE AND CAREER BEGINNINGS

Princess Obeyi Diamond Okosun known professionally as Diamond Alpha, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress. She is known for her consistent image reinventions and versatility in both music and entertainment.

Born on 25th November 1995 in the Ancient City of Benin, Edo State.  Diamond as a child was inspired by the performing style of the likes of Celine Dion, the legendary Michael Jackson and Lady Gaga, whom she cites as early influencers. She attended Excel High School and graduated from college of Education with an NCE in Mathematics. 

       

In the early -2000. Diamond started singing at age 8, she had an undoubtable inspiration of becoming a professional writer and an entertainer with a unique style and difference, always having the zeal to create event and experiences. She wrote her first song at the age of 9 'Look at the World' and many others.

2016 during her finals in college she was featured in 'Taste the Feeling' at coke studio competition at Ringroad Benin city where she emerged second place and won a Samsung Galaxy phone from Coca-Cola. Diamond left the music industry for a while and relocated to Federal Capital Territory (FCT)  Abuja 2019. Diamond came back to her music 2020 but her career was affected by the world pandemic (Corona virus). 

2023 Diamond Created her own Musical Record Label 'Capitol States Records'. 

Diamond is a Musical artist, Script writer, Song writer, Movie director, Actress, Model, Model Trainer and Vocalist. She's also an Entrepreneur . When she isn’t glued to her work field, she spends time learning, Writing, Dancing and trying to spend time with family.
